About Kimberly

Hi, I’m Kimberly Girard:
well-loved child of God,
wife of an extraordinary man,
mother of three remarkable kids.

I want to be one
who publishes peace,
who brings good news of happiness,
who publishes salvation,
who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”
(Isaiah 52:7)

I taught children to write and then became a mom who read and dreamed of writing. Then late one Christmas Eve, my knowing husband gave me a laptop and told me to write, even just for myself, because he knows what the creative process can do. I raised every creative objection. He said, just write. So eventually I did. A friend told me, if it feels like worship, write; if there’s a part of you that comes alive when you write, write. So I’m writing.

I feel very honored by your presence here, and I pray that you read something that reminds you how prized you are, just because you’re you and the God of the universe deemed you, his precious creation, good and even delightful.
